If you just activated your first RainBarrel audience with Meta, there are a couple steps you will need to do in order to access your audience.
Step 1: Add RainBarrel as a Partner
In your Meta Business Settings under Partners and there should be a request there from RainBarrel to accept. Meta requires the client to accept the sharing responsibilities so they're able to use the audience.
If you cannot find this request, no sweat. You can manually add RainBarrel as a Partner.
In Meta Business Suite and Manager, click Business Settings.
Next, click Partners
Next, click the Add drop-down menu and select "Give a partner access to your assets."
In the Add a New Partner dialog, enter “614309366440335” (Rain Barrels Business ID) in the Partner Business ID field and then click Next.
Under Asset Types, select “Ad Accounts” and then check the check box for the ad account(s) to which you want to add RainBarrel as a partner.
Slide the “View performance” toggle and then click Save Changes.
When the confirmation message displays, click Done.
An admin of the Business Manager that owns the Ad Account you are going to deliver into must accept Facebook's terms of service by going to: "https://business.facebook.com/ads/manage/customaudiences/tos/?act=[accountID]" (where "[accountID]" is your Ad Account ID). For example, if your Ad Account ID is "123456789", the URL would be "https://business.facebook.com/ads/manage/customaudiences/tos/?act=123456789".
Step 2: Accept Terms of New Audience
One RainBarrel has been added as a Partner, you should be able to see the audience under the Audiences page. There will be a button to accept additional terms and conditions beside this audience before it can be used in a campaign.
Step 3: Add Audience to Campaign
Once you see the audience in the Audiences page and the terms are accepted, you are ready to go! When setting up the Ad Set for your campaign, find the Custom Audience search box and look up your RainBarrel audience.
